The gorgeous White family {Snohomish Family Photographer}

Last year I was given the opportunity to photograph this family whom I adore. Nicole is one of those moms that I admire so much for loving her children with all she has, the kind of love you see in her face when she looks at them. They love her right back as well, as you can see in one of the photos where I had them all placed and posed and right as I was about to hit the shutter she moved to grab mamas leg and hug it tight. They all did this in some form throughout the process and while it isn't the "perfect" award winning photo, it is the most cherished and real. That is what I aim for. www.StephanieStevensPhoto.com

The M family {Snohomish Family Photographer}

Last fall I had the pleasure of shooting a mini family session in Snohomish for Austin, Kailey and Kloe. This session was special for a couple reasons: I knew Kailey's family since before she was born and because this was really their first professional family portrait session. Even though Kloe was not too sure of me we still got quite a few super cute pictures of her. 12/2012 www.StephanieStevensPhoto.com

My first wedding {Snohomish county wedding photographer}

Earlier this year I was contacted by a friend of the bride asking if I would be willing to photograph the wedding...TOMORROW! I had never photographed a wedding before and let them know that. If they were willing to take a chance then so was I. The next day when I woke up, really didn't sleep well because of nerves, I started searching for my flash and quickly started practicing since the wedding was in the evening hours. I quickly got online and asked my photography group of friends for help, thank God for them because they were right there with tutorials and websites to help me out. I was ready.
The bride is a beautiful young woman that had a few let downs on her day by various vendors, I would not have know it by how beautiful it all was had I not been told. Their love was all I was able to see and the love of their family.
